Graduation Checklist

• Attend a Senior Meeting in September and pick up your packet (includes an APAS).
• Apply for your degree by the appropriate deadline.
• Check your APAS report on -line frequently and stay in contact with your adviser.
• Watch your University email for updates and critical announcements.
• Check to see if you will graduate “With Distinction” -- you must have a cum GPA of 3.75- 3.89. To graduate “With High Distinction” – you must have a cum GPA 3.90 or higher. Use the GPA calculator on the graduation website to determine what grades you might need to qualify. Note: transfer grades are not included in your GPA calculation.
• Check out the Senior Year Calendar in your packet to make sure that you are meeting the appropriate deadlines and attending important events.
• Check for holds on the Student One Stop. Your degree will not be posted and your diploma will not be mailed until all financial obligations to the University are met.
• Register with the Alumni Relations Office.
• Plan to attend the Senior Banquet in December.
• Complete and return the Advising Survey in your packet to the Advising Office.
• Check out the Career Center for grad school and career seeking information.
• Check the Financial Aid Information page or visit the Financial Aid Office to see if an “Exit interview” is required.
• Attend the Grad Finale in March. [check email]

Commencement is in May on the UMM campus mall (rain site is PE Center)
