Transcripts
Your transcript is the official
record of the degree
you have earned,
the classes you have taken, and the
grades you have earned. To get a
copy of your transcript, we first
need to receive your written signature
along with your payment. All mailed transcripts are sent via U.S. 1st Class Mail.
Transcript
requests are not
held for grades or
degrees. Most grades
will be posted to
official transcripts
approximately one
week after the last
day of final examinations.
Degrees will be posted
approximately 3 weeks
after the close of
term. To
check the status
of your grades or
degree view an unofficial
copy .
NOTE: Transcripts will not be issued
for individuals with financial holds. CHECK

*All mailed transcripts are sent via U.S. 1st Class Mail. If you want your transcript mailed via U.S. Postal Service Express mail, you will need to pay an additional $17.50 for the U.S.P.S. Express mail fee. If you need your transcript mailed via FedEx, you can request your transcript through the Twin Cities website: www.umn.edu

Important Information About Your Request
All official transcripts
are certified and signed
by the University registrar;
each is mailed in a
separate sealed envelope.
Do not open the envelope
if you are forwarding
to another party (institution,
employer, etc.) Open
the envelope only if
you have ordered for
personal use.
If
you have documents
you want mailed
with your transcript,
do NOT request
your transcript
using the online
process; request
your transcript
using the PDF Request
form.
As of November 3,
1997, the University
of Minnesota transcript
does not include
courses from other
institutions; however,
the name of the institution
and the number of
credits accepted
for transfer are
displayed. The Office
of the Reigstrar
can not release copies
of transcritps on
file from other institutions.
