Student Organization Budget Information

The Office of Student Activities is responsible for working with Student Organizations to manage their funds.   All fiscal transactions must be conducted through the Office of Student Activities.   Organizations may request printouts of their budgets, or assistance in managing their accounts at any time by simply stopping by the office and asking for a current printout.

The Office of Student Activites also works with the Activities Fee Review Committee (AFRC) to allocate the student fee and provide funding assistance to all student groups. All approved student organizations can receive funding from the AFRC or fundraise on their own.   AFRC funds student organizations in two different ways; through annual funding for established groups and a special fund called Assistance for Small Groups (ASG).   ASG funds are available on a per event basis to registered student organizations that are not included in the annual funding process.   All fundraising projects need to be approved by the Director of Student Activities.
