Called one of the greatest lyricsts of the age, singer/songwriter Loudon
Wainwright III opens the 2005-06 CAC Performing
Arts Series at UMM with a performance in Edson Auditorium Saturday,
September 10, 7:30pm. The artist has recorded 20 albums and received 20
Grammy nominations; his songs have been covered by entertainment icons
Johnny Cash and Earl Scruggs.
The season continues with performances by ARENA Dances, Red Priest
(right), Break! (the Urban Funk Spectacular), and a return engagement by
the esteemed Aquila Theatre Company. Jazz Fest dates are April 6, 7 and
