Position Description:

Work with the Center for Small Towns staff to research information on vacant school buildings in rural communities. Collect information on how many are getting tore down or reused. Establish a frame work for future research, conduct interviews with communities with vacant school buildings, and write a report.

Qualifications/Additional Comments:

Interest in economic development, and vacant school buildings, excellent organizational and personal skills, and basic research skills are helpful. Some interviews and travel may be required - need to be 19 to drive a university vehicle.

Wage/Salary:

$7.50/hr

Hours Per Week:

10 hours per week
