Position Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Center for Small Towns was recently awarded a contract to complete a phone survey as part of the evaluation of the Blandin Foundation’s Broadband Initiative. We are looking for UMM students to conduct phone surveys for 11 participating communities from across Minnesota.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The students hired for these positions will work directly with CST staff to complete in phone surveys and collect data. Training and communications equipment/tools are provided.

DURATION
As soon as May17th – mid July or until the desired number of completed surveys is reached

Qualifications/Additional Comments:

QUALIFICATIONS
• Clear verbal articulation of English
• Understanding of phone etiquette is helpful
• Familiar with completing spread sheets is helpful
• Ability to call and talk on the phone with random people

ELIGIBILITY
Full time UMM student

Wage/Salary:

$7.50 per hour

Hours Per Week:

15 hours per week
