Youth Basketball Coach

Position Description:

Morris Area Community Education is looking for Basketball Coaches for our 1-6 Basketball Program.

The kick-off for the program is Saturday December 1, 2012, and runs through the end of February, 2013

The 1st and 2nd Grade practices run Saturday mornings 8:30-9:30and the 3rd through 6th grade practices are Monday evenings 5:30-6:30 and Saturday mornings 9:30-11:00.

In addition to coaches, we are looking for a Saturday morning elementary basketball supervisor. The general duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Oversee the Saturday morning Basketball program
Open the Elementary and High School for coaches, players and parents
Set up gym and necessary equipment
Remain for the duration of practices
Clean up gyms and put away equipment
Lock buildings

We will also need coaches for our preschool and Kindergarten basketball program which will begin the beginning of February, 2013.
