On Call Office Assistant

Position Description:

Cargill AgHorizons serves farm customers in the United States and is dedicated to helping farmers prosper. Products and services include grain origination and storage, grain marketing resources and advice, crop input products such as seed and fertilizer, agronomic advice, and information services.

We are looking for an on-call employee to help out on an as needed basis but especially during harvest. The Office Assistant will work with customers to provide grain bids and market information within the Farm Service Group (FSG) and support the Scale Operator when needed. This person will also be assigned other administrative tasks related to the sales function including, but not limited to answering phones, filing, and light computer work. Qualifications for this position include a high school diploma, proven ability to work independently, the capability to professionally manage customer relationships, proven ability for self motivation without supervision, strong teamwork focus with the ability to support others effectively, good attendance record and work ethics, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to work effectively across all levels of the organization and functions, inside and outside of Cargill.

Qualifications/Additional Comments:
