Spare Key Hot Spot Assistant

Position Description:
Spare Key is a Minnesota based 501 (c) (3) non-profit that is focused on helping parents remain a part of seriously ill or critically injured child’s care team in the hospital. We do so by providing housing grant assistance to families, allowing them to focus on their child’s recovery. Spare Key has been awarded significant funds by the Otto Bremer Foundation to serve more families in Greater Minnesota. In order to achieve the organization’s goals, it must increase the number of referrals it receives from resources and networks in 2013 in Greater Minnesota and is looking for some help to assist with these connections.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The student will work with the Center for Small Towns and Spare Key to increase the number of unique relationship connections and networks that can provide qualified applicant referrals to Spare Key for housing payments under its guidelines. Final product for Spare Key will be a detailed list of specific contacts, networks and relationships that can provide qualified applicant referrals to the organization.
Qualifications/Additional Comments:

• Highly motivated and well organized
• Excellent interpersonal communications and writing skills
• Strong project management skills
Wage/Salary:
7.50 per hour
