Welcome to ACS-Morris Chapter!

The University of Minnesota-Morris Student Affiliate Chapter of American Chemical Society (ACS) has received Honorable Mention and Commendable achievement awards from the National ACS Organization past six years in its excellence in extracurricular activities and community service. The Morris chapter has promoted scientific interest in K-12 students and attracted both non-chemistry and chemistry majors with exciting events. The club has brought the relationship between the UMM chemistry faculties and students to the greater extent of friendship through an activity such as Halloween Prof. Dress-up Fundraiser. Further, the chem. club has hosted Internship Info Night and Graduate Night for science majors in order to provide more guidance to those who dream to be a research scientist, with much generous refreshment and extraordinary welcome. This chemistry club has brought much vitality to the science discipline; it has been one of the most progressive student organizations in University of Minnesota, Morris.
