SAY CHEEEEESE!

At the International Students' Association,
we just love to smile!
That's why, we put on our best smiles to show
the entire world how happy we are to be students at UMM.

During this academic year 2005-2006, we are 20 international students officially registered at the University of Minnesota, Morris from freshman to senior years. We hope that more international students from around the planet will join us over the next years to enlarge this association and thereby make it a more diverse and richer community in Morris.

We thought it would be cool to introduce ourselves individually. So, if you want to know our names and countries of citizenship, just place the cursor on each of us in the picture at left.

OUR EXCEPTIONAL STAFF AT THE CENTER FOR INT'L PROGRAMS
The staff at the Center for International is just exceptionally great! So dedicated and so involved in the well-being of the international students, we hardly notice that we live far from home. To put it more simply, they make us feel like we're home away from home. They're family for us.

As the Director of the Center of International Programs at UMM, Tom McRoberts has played a prominent role in the good reputation of UMM nationwide and abroad. He facilitates the insertion of new international students here and personally makes sure that they live in conditions favorable to their mental, social and academic improvements.

Sharon Van Eps, of the Center for International Programs (CIP), assists UMM students in making the necessary academic arrangements for study abroad. CIP provides support services throughout the process, whether it is to obtain application forms or to con tinue your UMM registration while you are studying abroad.
He is helped in this task by Sharon, his secretary. Just like Tom, her kindness and sympathetic smile would comfort you even before she helps you find a solution to a problem.
