Essential Deadline: Monday, January 28, 2013

The Essential Deadline for spring semester 2013 is Monday, January 28. This semester milestone marks:
-the last day to add classes
-the last day to change from S/N grading to A/F, or A/F to S/N
-the last day to drop classes without a W on the transcript
-the last day to change registration for financial aid eligibility
-the last day to apply for the degree
-and the last day to apply for graduation.
Before dropping any classes, students should be aware that there could be ramifications with this decision. Check with the Office of Financial Aid if you have questions about your financial assistance or with the Business Office about tuition, fees, and refunds. In addition, courses should be added on or before the essential deadline for financial aid eligibility.
Remember that the Essential Deadline also applies to second-half semester classes, directed studies, internships, etc.
Most Office of the Registrar online services are available on the weekend prior to January 28, but please note that the system is down every Sunday for routine maintenance from 6 a.m. until noon.
