Scholarships/Funding Sources
Pending transfer of funds from the Department of Labor
to the Renewable Energy Marketplace-Alliance for Talent Development, scholarships may be available for full tuition, fees and books, room and board for students attending ESci 1131. When you complete the scholarship application, please indicate whether you are applying for the resident (includes room and board on-campus at Morris during the class) or commuter option (living off-campus during the class).
Complete and submit the scholarship application online:
Scholarship Application for ESci 1131 Renewable Energy with Biomass Gasification
- complete the Application for Enrollment form
- submit an official college academic transcript (for current college students)
- provide a brief statement of endorsement (1 page maximum) written by an faculty/academic advisor (or for non-students, the statement may be written by the applicant's work supervisor)
Statements of endorsement may include information about how the biomass course will fit into a student's educational plan or employment goals following course completion. Academic transcripts and statements of endorsement should be mailed to:

Student orientation letters will be sent two weeks prior to the start of your course to the Mailing Address that you provided on your registration form. If your mailing address changes, please notify the Continuing Education office at 320-589-6450 or by e-mail at biomass@morris.umn.edu.
