Volunteers are needed for the Great Finals Pancake Break sponsored by the CAC-Homecoming and Traditions Committee, along with Sodexho Campus Services. The Pancake Break is on study day, Friday, Dec. 16, from 8-10 p.m. Ten volunteers are needed per shift: 7-8 p.m., 8-9 p.m., and 9-10 p.m. Assist with making pancakes, serving drinks, and clean up. The event will also include music by Jake Rowan, a 2004 UMM graduate who is working toward a music career.

The Campus Activities Council at UMM is looking for faculty and staff who are interested in a performance opportunity next semester. CAC is planning a variety show for Thursday, Feb. 2. Elementary or secondary education program applicants: You must take the Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST) before entering either the elementary or secondary education program. The test will be offered at UMM on January 7. If you are an elementary education student planning to graduate in 2008 OR are a secondary education student planning to graduate in 2007 you MUST take this test no later than the January 7 test date to meet application deadlines. The registration form should be submitted today! Also, all education students MUST complete all three areas of the PPST before entering the program. Contact Counseling for information on registering.
Secondary education applicants planning to graduate in 2007: All of the application material is due to Pat Nelson in the Education Division office no later than Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005. When you return in January, remember to sign up for your interview for the secondary education program. Interviews will be Monday, January 23 through Friday, January 27. Sign up sheets will be on the Education Division Office door (200).
