Retired Multi-Ethnic Student Program Director Bill Stewart and his wife, Ida, traveled to Chicago with MSP Assistant Director Mike Miller, MSP Executive Office and Administrative Assistant Bonnie Tipcke and Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving Carla Riley on November 3 to attend an MSP alumni gathering which was held that evening at the historic Chicago Firehouse. Joining the group at the Firehouse was Chancellor Jacquie Johnson who enjoyed the opportunity to meet and mingle with the alumni who were in attendance, and Admissions Counselor Tara Schmidt, who was recruiting in Chicago. The group returned to Minnesota the next day after an exciting evening of reconnecting with former friends and making new ones. A number of those who attended the event from the Chicago area suggested that they are considering coming to UMM next year for Homecoming!
