Wireless

If you'd like to access the University of Minnesota Morris Wireless network in one of the wireless locations on campus, you'll need to use your University Internet ID and password. When you launch a browser you'll be prompted to enter your University Internet ID and password into a form, upon authentication you'll be directed to the page you were attempting to load.

Computing Services highly recommends that you install and use VPN while using the wireless network because it keeps your wireless transmissions private.

Individuals with no affiliation to the University, may purchase access to the University's wireless network using a credit card. A unique ID and password will be assigned to the user for the remainder of the day with the option of adding up to five additional days of access. Access expires at 2 a.m. of the day specified by the user. To sign up for this access, the user follows a link on the University's wireless sign-in page. These accounts are for access to the wireless network only.

The UMM wireless network is currently available in these locations on campus, and will continue to be expanded thanks to allocations from the UMM student technology fee.
