BioClub Info

What's this all about, then?

We're interested in promoting an interest in the biological sciences and helping students to succeed in our biology program. The Biology Club works to develop programs, events, and activities that bring together students. We do this through fundraising, peer tutoring, speakers, volunteer activities, and more. Anyone is welcome to participate in the BioClub; you've got to take the first step, though. Without your ideas, support, and participation, we'd just be a handful of people with a curiously strong interest in biology.
The more the merrier, right?

Yeah, so what have you done for me lately?

We're glad you asked.

This year, our club has been trying to keep active and build greater support. In Sci 1040, your biology lounge, we have an internet-enabled computer for your advancement, a small library for your edification, and slightly-used couches for your weary soul, among other things. During the fall, we ventured out for our annual adopt-a-highway expedition, held a swinging meet-and-greet, and decorated a tree with lights and microfuge tubes. We've got more planned for the spring, and that'll be your chance to get in on the ground floor, so to speak. The more you participate, the more people you'll get to know, and the more you can learn. So, start early and bring your friends; make some new ones, too.

Got big ideas? We wanna hear about them. Contact us.
