The meeting will occur tomorrow night - April 26th at 7:00pm same
everything it's just 24.5 hours later. Thank you.

April 23, 2005

This Monday, April 25, we, the Math Club, will once again meet in the Math
Game room. During this time we should discuss when to elect officers,
ideas for making our great club more appealing during the Fall Fair-thingy,
and perhaps get on the ball about Dave Roberts and the game called "Go".
This seemed like a nice thought, and given that he won't be here next year
I think we will want to do this semester. It can be our last "actual" math
club activity. What say you? Tell us at the meeting!
That's the usual time of 6:30pm of course.

April 10, 2005

I'm going to go ahead and say that we will have math club this WEDNESDAY,
allow to repeat for added emphasis: this WEDNESDAY. That is, of course,
the 13th of April, 2005. But at what time???

I'll tell you.

7:45pm. I think this isn't too late. Some people may be late, but no one
will perish for it. Wednesdays are sorta busy for some folks.

Be there or be cubed!

April 4, 2005

Hey all you mathematicians,

Sorry for the late notice on this, but we won't be having a meeting tonight
because certain persons, who, for their own protection, will remain
nameless, decided there shouldn't be a meeting becuase of everybody's
extreme business. Also, we're still looking for a soldering iron, so we
should get that before we start. So, uless you guys have a better idea, we
will plan on a meeting next week at the usual time in order to do
construction and possibly a trial run for the bubble project. See you
then!

March 19, 2005

Hey all,

Hope your spring break was terrific and continues to be. This Monday at
6:30 in the game room, we'll be meeting again to get updates on materials
for the bubble project (observing the geometrical patterns formed by bubble
walls within assorted geometrical frames), discussing possible designs we
want to try, and doing some problem solving or math-related games.
Remember, if you're at home, check around your house for wire, tools, dish
soap (Joy and Dawn are apparently the best), glycerin (should you stock
it), White Karo Syrup, geometrical frames (okay, that's probably pushing
it), and whatever else might be useful. See you Monday!

March 4, 2005

Hey folks,

We'll be having our traditional Monday meeting, at a new-and-improved time:
6:00, due to the fact that the History Club is more on the ball than we
are. We'll be meeting in the TV Lounge of the Student Center to watch an
episode of Square One and talk about the rest of the semester. Hope to see
you there!

February 20, 2005

This Monday night at 6:30 we'll be watching a collection of video entries
from a math competition in the TV Lounge of the Student Center. All of the
pieces are fairly short, relating to field of math, and supposedly highly
intriguing. Come learn about turning a sphere inside out, and much more.
Hope to see you there!

February 7, 2005

There will be a Math Club meeting tonight at 6:30 in the game room (3rd
floor of the Math and Science building). We'll be planning for the
semester, so please bring ideas of what you want to see done, and
nominations for a co-chair. Hope to see you there.

February 1, 2005

So, it's finally time for Math Club to resume... well, existing. Next
Monday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 there will be a meeting in the Game Room (3rd floor
in the Math/Sci building). We will be taking nominations for a new
co-chair (as our fearless leader Katie has moved on to the major leagues of
the math scene), planning our activities for the rest of the semester, as
well as playing some games. So come with ideas and nominations, and bring
a friend. Hope to see you there!
