"Be the change you hope to see in the world," Gandhi
said. The beginning of a new school year combines with the change in
weather and the turning of the leaves to shock us into remembering that
life doesn't just go around in a circle. It spirals toward something
out of sight. We are not passive; we don't just go with the flow. In
a university we know we are working toward a goal, taking hold of our
lives. We have the power to be and become. Not just in the hard times
of struggle, but also in the good times of rejoicing in our strength,
we turn to the source of our life, our strength, and our love for each
other, to the God who made and sustains us. Come share the joy and the
struggle. MECM welcomes you.

We are a Christian-based student organization that offers a welcoming and non-judgmental environment for people seeking faith and encouragement on their spiritual journey. Typically we come together weekly for fun, food, prayer, study, worship, and service in the Episcopal Tradition (in cooperation with the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota). We actualize our commitments through planning & implementing activities & events on & off campus relating to social justice, education, service, empowerment and enjoyment. Two things that set MECM apart from other faith-based student organizations are our commitment to social justice work and our welcoming environment for people of all faiths and walks of life. MECM is an organization where all are welcome @ God’s table and Love is an action work. We invite all student, faculty, staff and community members to attend any and all of our activities, events, and programs.
