Course meeting time/place:

Tuesdays, 10:00 - 11:40, SCI-4655, Jan. 17 - May 2.

Required materials:

§   Schultz, D. P., & Schultz, S. E. (2004). A history of modern psychology (8th ed.). Belmont , CA : Wadsworth/Thompson Learning.

§   An introductory psychology textbook.  If you don't have one, I have extras that I can loan.

§   Other materials will be distributed in class, linked to the course web page, or placed on reserve.  See the syllabus.

Additional course information:
60% of the course grade will be based on five essays written in response to issues raised in the readings and class.  Click here to review grading criteria and see example "C" and "A" essays written by former students.
The group presentations on individual psychology disciplines' histories represent another 20% of the total grade.  Further information about those presentations and grading criteria can be found here.
