MATTER OF THE HEART MINISTRIES GWEN STOLL
Like her Grandmother Hattie and her Mother Joyce, Gwen is a woman of prayer. At the age of 14, she invited Jesus into her heart, and made a decision to "walk with Him". However, nobody could tell her HOW to do that. 20 years later someone finally showed her how to have a personal relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ. Gwen has been serving Him ever since and teaching others how to walk with Him. After graduating Bible School, Gwen ministered for 2 years as a housemother, counselor and Bible school instructor in a home for women getting off drugs and alcohol. Gwen has been involved in prison ministry for 8 years and led teams into 2 women's prisions. She ministers in churches, bridging racial and cultural separations, and has served as a short-term missionery to Honduras. During Bible School, God gave Gwen a brand new spine, after a medical doctor and Chiropractor told her she would end up in a wheel chair within 3 months! Eight years later, she is still walking and preaching the Gospel! After living away from Minnesota for 26 years, the Lord has led Gwen back to live in Central Minnesota where her parents grew up. One day as she was driving past a piece of land that once belonged to her grandfather, the Lord spoke to her heart and said; "I want you to pick up your inheritance". Ps 2:8 says: ASK OF ME, AND I WILL GIVE YOU THE NATIONS AS YOUR INHERITANCE, AND THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH AS YOUR POSSESSION. We are living in the "last days" and our concern should be that when Jesus comes back for His Bride, we have shared the good news of the Gospel with the whole earth, and none are left behind. Gwen believes that her inheritance is PEOPLE. You cant bring anything else to heaven with you! As Gwen shares the Word of God, lives are radically changed by humor, love and truth. The main focus of Matter of the Heart Ministries is summed up in 3 scriptures of the heart: I will (not merely walk, but) run the way of your commandments when You (Lord) give me a HEART that is willing. Psalm 119:32 Amp. For the Lord sees not as man sees: for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the HEART. I Samuel 16:7 May we all be like the Psalmist who prayed: With my WHOLE HEART have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You: O let me not wander or step aside (either in ignorance or willfully) from Your commandments. Psalm 119:10 Gwen teaches the Word of God and prayer in simple practical ways with signs and wonders following.
