APAS tip-duplicates

Have you ever seen this on your APAS?

Or maybe

Is the symbol >D confusing? Easy to miss?

Did you wonder why there was zero credits of A?

Basically, students cannot receive credit for the same course twice.

There are numerous repeat scenarios all based on the repeat section of the “Grading and Transcripts” policy, section F number 6.

The above example shows that APAS has identified that a repeat rule has been broken, and the >D identifies this as a “duplicate course.” The credits and GPA value have been removed from the course.

Usually the transcript needs to be updated also.

The Office of the Registrar identifies as many of these as we can at the end of each semester and takes action AFTER grades are posted. If this has not been done, please contact the Office of the Registrar and report it. Please contact the Office of the Registrar if you believe an error has occurred on your APAS.
